Creeds in the Bible

Activity

The following scripture passages are considered to be creeds or declarations of faith. Pick a season of the year, such as Advent or Lent or the Easter season. Cut the scripture passages apart, fold them, and place them in a bowl. As a family or household, commit to reading and discussing one of these passages each evening. Use these questions to focus your discussion:

  1. How does this passage confirm your Catholic faith?
  2. How does this passage challenge you to grow in your faith?
  3. What can you do to “live” this passage in the next 24 hours?
