In this activity you can make a modern set of Ten Commandments for today's world. Have each person in the family make their own set, and then show them off to each other. Small children should work with a parent or older brother or sister.
You will need:
A sheet of white cardboard
A tea bag
Scissors
A pencil
A pen
WHAT TO DO:
Use a piece of card which does not have a very shiny surface. Draw a stone tablet shape on your card.
Wipe the surface of your 'tablet' with a freshly used but cool, teabag. This will give it the appearance of age
Cut out your shape.
Lightly write 10 rules for living in today’s world with a pencil on your stone tablet. These rules should reflect what you think may help people to get along better with others, either in your school or in the world today.
When you are satisfied with the layout, carefully go over your writing with a pen.
